It doesn't really say it all. If you had looked at the info that he posted, it says that he does have USB 2.0 compliant hardware.

Have you tried using another USB port on your computer? Some computers have two USB 2.0 ports and two other USB 1.1 ports. Try switching some stuff around and see what happens.
