XP Pro SP 1 - No Drives in "My Computer"

Hi there,

After tweaking services & Group Policy settings in XP Pro SP 1, I can see no drives at all in "My Computer". Drives affected are one hard drive, one optical drive and a floppy.

All drives are fully accessible using Windows Explorer, Command Prompt, Start->Run->"C:\" etc...

The other things that struggle to find the drives are WinRar->Extract files to...->"C:\Temp". It will simply not extract files using the Extract files to command. It gives no warning.

Alcohol 120%, when saving a CD Image to hard disk, All I see in the explorer-style folder selector is the Desktop, with that little dotted line leading down/right to where my drives SHOULD be, but there is nothing there.

Typing "C:\Temp" in the folder selection box manually works fine.

Any insight into which services/Group Policy might be affecting this would be greatly appreciated.

Steve.
