Hello all firstly -newbie here
I just installed sp2 last night. I was uptil 5 trying to figure it out but I can't so any help would be appreciated.
Im having the slow/delayed start up time mentioned also. Its a nightmare. I don't know what the funk the deal is? But my computer is taking forever to start.

512ram
xp home
I remember a while ago updating a security patch before sp1 came out and that slowed down my shut down time -a LOT as well.
Anyone any ideas on what the problem is?
Also, windows messenger seems to have installed itself (slyly) again. Anyone know how to take it off? I can't see the option in the add/remove programs and im not sure if the uninstall option in xp anti spy is for that? (it refers to it as microsoft messenger and I wish to keep msn messenger).
