Hello,
First my System Specs:
AMD Athlon XP 3000+
1 gig DDR Ram
GeForce 4 Ti 4800SE 128 MB DDR (56.72 drivers)
Soundblaster PCI 128
80 gig Maxtor HD
Gigabyte Motherboard
Windows XP Home (Service Pack 1)
DirectX 9b
I think that's everything, sorry if I don't put everything, but I am very new to PC's and do not understand very well (due to personal health Problems)
OK the problem is that if I boot up for the first time each day and then each time I restart after that on the very first boot screen, where it say's Check System Health, next to that I have a "!" sign, I used to have it saying OK, now it does'nt..........I had this before with my old system, but turning off System Restore, seemed to solve it, now however it does'nt
I have installed all updates, and that has not helped.
I have'nt gone for the Service Pack 2 yet as I have been told its still new and has'nt been tested thoroughly yet, and I'd rather not be a guinea pig as I am primarily a gamer and just want to get on with what I like best, as quick as I can
It may seem like a trivial complaint/problem, but it does annoy me as it was once ok, and now I can't shift the ! sign
I was just about to post this and I noticed that in the dxdiag screen under the diaplay tab, it has the following:
DirectDraw Acceleration: Enabled
Direct3D Acceleration: Enabled
AGP Texture Acceleration: Not Available (could this be the problem? I really have no idea why this is saying that)
I hope someone can help me please.
