Thanks for the reply.

I don't have any COM addins for Outlook at all, and indeed, the temporary solution of killing the Outlook.exe process in question does the trick, but it keeps coming back everytime I reboot.

I don't use an Exchange server, so that's out.

I scan with Ad-Aware and Spybot regularly (every 2-3 days), and nothing came up just now.

I have my NOD32 setup to scan incoming and outgoing e-mail, but this problem cropped up recently, and I've been using NOD32 and OL together for a while now.

I just did a fresh install now, and I haven't had this pop up since. Thanks for the info anyways.
