Hi Guys,

I disabled the XP firewall as suggested but still having the same problem.

The error number I get is 0x800CCC92.

I have been to the Outlook Express error troubleshooting site and have tried their solutions for this error number but this also did not work.

I am at a loss as to what to do next. The problem only seems to happen on system reboots or on start up. The saved setting of incoming mail (POP3) "pop.freeserve.com" is lost each time a reboot is carried out. This has then to be entered manually and the change applied each time the system starts up. All other settings, e-mail addresses (lower case)...etc in OE are correct.

Is there anything else I can try.
