XP & Internet Connection Sharing.
I've done a search here and although I understand several people have a similar problem, I can't find a solution, so ...
I have a LAN with three machines connected. I use a 10.0.0.x subnet on the internal network.
I have broadband access to the 'net and my ISP supplied connection is via a USB connected modem with the address 198.162.0.1 - I can't change this.
I want to use windows XP Pro Internet Connection Sharing, but obviously Microsoft decided my WAN connection would be 192.168.0.1, the same as the modem.
So far, I've managed to get by by using a program AnalogX Proxy, but it irritates me that I can't get around the Microsoft issue - is there anyone who knows more about XP than me (probably most of you) who can help me out with this?
