Try swapping over the drives and boot into Home, are the files there?
If so then there is a security thing going on, lemme check for the exact solution, a program called final recovery i think i forget its name , thats one excellent program. ill edit and post a link
why would a firewall block access to files or delete them on a hdd that is connected to the same machine?
