i assume this is an IDE drive. also assume it has the same ata/udma rating as the drive you have installed( because if it is a slower drive, it has the potential to slow your other drive down.) all you need is to hook it up to the IDE cable and hook up the power connector. if you are hooking this drive up on the same cable as your other hard drive, you should configue it as the slave, and hook it up on the connector in the middle of the cable. the one at the end of the cable is for the master, and the other end is for the motherboard or ide card connection.
