The first time I noticed the problem was AFTER I upgraded to WMP 10. I have XP and every time you insert a DVD movie disc, it pops up asking what program you want to use. I have my own DVD player software that I prefer over WMP's. This didn't matter. No matter what I selected in that AutoPlay box, it opened WMP. Obviously, a glitch, so I try to get around it.

I go into Tools->Options->File Types and uncheck DVD. I hit OK (and even Apply first). Hit Tools->Options->File Types again and, guess what, DVD is rechecked. Yeah, I'm ticked off. I'm sure it's just a programming error or something, but it sucks that it won't let me do what it should do.

Does anyone have any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!
