I agree- Norton's antivirus and firewall are ok but the rest of the stuff they give you just screws up your computer. My brother bought the Norton suite a couple years ago and was calling me all the time wanting help with the problems Norton was causing. He had to reformat time and time again (we live on opposite sides of the country so I can't GO to his house...). He would install the Norton utilities and then call to tell me his computer crashed. After a couple times of that, I started telling him NOT to install anything of Norton's other than antivirus and firewall. He did not listen... A few times later I finally had to tell him that if he installed the utilities again, he couldn't call me for help because he already knew what was causing the problems. His attitude for a long time was that he paid for it so dammit, he was gonna use it. He did finally quit using the Norton utilities when I threatened to cut him off from my tech support... He has not had a system failure since... DO NOT USE NORTON'S UTILITES other than antivirus and firewall.
