Of all the Norton products people install SystemWorks seems to be the culprit most of the time when they have problems with their pc.

Personally I would thank your lucky stars it WON'T reinstall.

A registry search to clean out all the Norton/Symantec/SystemWorks entries may help,........ (careful here, some Symantec and Norton registry entries are for WinXP Security Centre to monitor AV/ Firewall status so if you delete the wrong one manually and reinstall SystemWorks you may find Security Centre with a monitoring problem) or you could try Registry Mechanic. If you have a partial uninstall it will find redundant registry entries and remove them. Delete the SystemWorks folder from program files then run Registry Mechanic.

Remember the golden rule of the registry:

Back up before you make any alteration to any registry keys.
