I need help customizing the start menu (I'm not sure that all the things I want to do are possible). Here is what my start menu looks like now:

Program Files
Settings
Search
Run
Log Of [User]...
Turn Off Computer...

I have found an option to display the control pannel as a menu under the settings tab. The thing is, I don't need the other things listed under "Settings", so is there a way to change this to only display the Control Panel? So that when i hover over "Settings" it displays the various Control Panel links. I would also like to rename the "Settings" tab to "Control Panel" if possible.

The only thing I use the "Search" tab for is the first option "For Files or Folders...". Is there a way to directly link that button in the start menu, and then rename it "Search"? (Basically, I want to just click the Search button and bring up File Search.)

I would like to disable the "Log of [User]..." button on the Start Menu.

Control Pannel
Search
Run
Turn Off Computer...
