To an Electronic Engineer this problem looks like a case of bad contacts, either the Power supply connectors or data connectors.
Check out all connections for bent pins (unlikely but worth checking) and then remake all connections.
Power supply testers can be bought online for around £12/15 or 20dollars. They check all supplies and reset the PSU.
