I think the problem Im having occurred after I ran one of those 'registry cleaner' programs'. I cannot uninstall three (so far) programs on my PC. Either the 'install.log' or 'uninst.isu' files cannot be found when trying to uninstall, and therefore the program cannot be uninstalled. The three programs are WinFax Pro 10, Adobe Photoshop 7 and GetRight. I have tried re-installing the programs (without obviously being able to uninstall them) but the same problem occurs. Could you please tell me how I can solve this problem, as its very annoying. I have already posted this problem in the Adobe forum (for Photoshop) but havent been able to get any solution! I want to completely remove these programs and any references to them in the registry. Your help/advice is greatly appreciated.
there is a way to do this but it involves entering the registry and deleting the
the software there software is found in hot key local machine this is a dangerous practice but does work consult the web on how to do this regidit is found in widows system 32 file its a green icon click it it will open the registry if you recognize the software name [ some software programs have ambiguos names dont delete anything you do not recognize] right click it and press delete make a system restore point before hand and get a registry back up program like erunt so if you make a mistake you can restore the registry
