I've been scratching my head over this for for 3 solid days, google was no help (which makes a change)
I cant access any shares on 1 computer out of my entire network, all the rest are fine. Very Strange.
I answer is this:
The Local Security Policy on the problem Computer was the issue, 'Access This Computer From The Network' was blank. When i added the Everyone Group for example, clicked ok, rebooted....loaded it up again, BLANK!
Totally peeved me off, so i IMPORTED a new one!
1: Right click Security Settings (The Root Node).
2: Select Import.
3: Select 'Setup Security'
Tha should fix your problem, all you need to do is adjust the settings the way you want them!
