Switch off, open your computer and look where you plug your speaker cable in. There should also be a small cable from the back of your CDrom to this card.
Remove it if you can and replace it in another slot. This will tell us if it's not inserted correctly, which seems distinctly possible.
Is there any writing or are there any numbers on it too?
