Question Going from ME to 98se, need to reformat HD, help?
I have a friend who has ME, and the operating system is totally corrupted, tried everything won't give it any more of my time. However she lost all of her original restore CD's that came with the computer. I happen to have a complete copy of Win98SE and told her I'd reload it in place of her ME. Then after that, I suggested that she upgrade to XP w/SP2.

It's been a while since I reformatted a harddrive, and since I'm going from ME to 98SE.....?

What's the process? Won't I need a boot floppy disk?
