If you dont have a bootable floppy disk, you can boot from the CD. But you have to check the BIOS configuration if the BOOT PRIORITY is set to CD-ROM. You can normally access the BIOS configuration by pressing the DEL key right after you restarted your PC when configurations appear on the screen. Then you need to go to the C:> prompt and type C:>\Format c:
