lol well it depends on what you mean by "know what they're doing" because if it comes to oc'ing and performance then most p4 users dont overclock and dont know the first thing about it....where as mostly all amd users are in the know for their cpu's overclockability. I used to run a mobile 2800+ that i tweaked voltages and clock speeds and had her runin like a 3800+ on air cooling...40C on a full load. So ive been down that road and i still build many AMD rigs because they are truly the better value and in many areas better performers. However, Intel users tend to be using their rigs for more business or professional image and video editing and such. So in that aspect Intel users have the edge for those areas. I dont discriminate between the "evil intel corporation" and the people in the "resistance" that run amd . I think that doesnt get anyone anywhere. Use what works best for you and enjoy your computing experience.
