I uninstalled it. And restarted the win 2k3, but local network internet sharing started giving troubles...from client pcs are win xp prof. service pack 2 with security and cookies settings middle. Now they can access only google, gmail websites...when I type hotmail, yahoo or any common website it searches and no page found error...so they have internet but why it is behaving like this?? server pc is connected to DSL internet via NetGear router... Seems to me that you have simply pooched your "DNS" setting for your Internet Connection... Google can be reached as it is still in your cache, but the others are probably not so they must load fresh from the web. Now, in case you aren't up on the different jobs of the servers, the DNS (Domain Name Server) is responsible for turning "english" type addresses (www.whatever.com) into REAL internet addys (123.11.22.333). One way to test is to type a known IP adress into the "go" box instead of a Domain name.

Let me know if this helps...
