Hi-thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately, I did manage to get thru that InstallShield, but when it got to the end it said:
"Driver not found. Reboot your system and run setup again". Of course I did that, and it did the same thing again.
I don't get it. Am I not INSTALLING the driver?!?!?!?
Most people, as I've seen in the threads, get one or two suggestions and...Problem solved! But, noooooooo, not me!!!
If you want to give up on this, I understand. I realize I'm not the only one out there who needs assistance. There is something I'm obviously missing here, despite your help. I appreciate all your suggestions, time and patience with me, ANZAC_ELITE. Also, thanks to bookworm.
Between this and my son's MSN friends popping up continually (even though he's signed off and exited?!?!?) I'm losing it. And of course, it's that "beep" when they pop up, because I have no sound...I could scream! Sorry-had to vent a bit. I'm okay now.
