Have you checked the Device Manager to see if there are any conflicts with your drivers (you would see a Yellow !)?
Are all the codecs installed for WMP?
Are you using on board sound/video?
Give your computer specs (Make and model of mobo, ram, cpu, etc.). If you don't know them download Belarc or Everest Home Edition you can get them at
www.majorgeeks.com under System Info.
