Advice on replacing my graphics card.

Ok, It’s been a very long time since I did this so I would like to run it past the experts. I have a Radion 9200 AGP card. I am going to replace it with a GE Force 6600GT. Now the Radion is ATI and the GE Force is Nvidia. If I remember correctly I do the following -

Of course I will read the manual which comes with the card and make sure I understand were any new leads are being attached too.

1. Uninstall the graphic card.
2. Uninstall the drivers.
3. Shut down the PC and remove the card.
4. Reboot the PC without the card in.
5. Shut down the PC and install the new one.
6. Reboot the PC and let it detect the new card and then install the new drivers.

Make sure I am not static charged as well.

Have I got the basics correct ? Also can anyone see any issue / conflicts I could get ?. Both are AGP 8X so I can’t see an issue.
