Hi, If the original Drive is plugged for CS then you probably have a CABLE SELECT cable and the new drive should also be plugged for CS. The location of the Jumpers is usually stamped on the back of the drive. If not set for CS, but set for MS for Master then the Cable is non-cable select and the new drive must be plugged SL for SLAVE. Other than that the flat cable must be plugged with the color strip to PIN ONE. That's is also usually stamped on the back of the drive. If not, the color stripe is usually toward the end that the power is plugged into. Hope this helps, Jim
