Ever since that day, I have not been able to use Windows Update. When I boot up my system, or reboot, I am able to go to the update page, it scans like it always does, and it then shows me the updates. Upon trying to actually download and install them, it just sits there and does... nothing. After five minutes or so, it comes up and states that all updates failed to install. Now, after that, I can no longer even visit the page to re-scan for updates. If I do, that particular window just freezes, and I have to eventually manually "End Task" to get rid of it. I have to reset my system to actually try again.

I checked for updates this evening, and there are now nine critical ones... each and every one has failed to download and install. I have absolutely no idea what is going on. My system is stable, and I have no other issues beyond this. Again, this began a few weeks back when I visited the site, and I had to confirm my copy of Windows XP. I did just that, and no errors came up, nothing came back stating there were any issues whatsoever.

If you need any further information on anything, please just ask. Any help or input is hugely appreciated. Thanks to everyone!
