I read in another thread that someone had a similar problem and they solved it by turning off the on-chipset USB or something, I don't have that option in the BIOS though.

Don't know if you have resolved but look here at MSI liveupdate it will check your drivers for you. one other point you have to update the chipset before the audio driver will load
