Need bi-directional, automatic file synching utility.
I've got a question that I was hoping some experienced Windows user out there could help me with. I am looking for a utility that will automatically, bi-directionally synchronize files.
Here's the scenario. I have a laptop and an office at work has a desktop (both are Win 2K), and there's a file that I may update on either one. Right now I'm using a floppy to shuttle the changes back and forth. Both computers have MS briefcases synched to the like files on the floppy. So, each time I sit down at one, I insert the floppy and make that briefcase synch. Problem is that sometimes I'm busy or tired and I forget, blah, blah. So...I need a program which will automatically synch the files both when the floppy is first inserted into the drive, and after any changes to either file for the length of the time the floppy remains in the drive. As the more updated file could be found on the computer OR the floppy, the synching capability needs to be bi-directional.
I've looked EVERYWHERE, and can't find what I need. Closest I've been is a program called SyncraFile (Ring Zero Software), which automatically detects file changes, then mirrors them, but unfortunately it's unidirectional only, and thus more useful for backups than for this sort of thing.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
