It keeps saying there is an direct sound error even though we downloaded the soundblaster live 24-bit drivers. I have a feeling it has something to do with this unimodem half-duplex audio device?

Thanks in advance!

Create a System Restore Point just in case

Here are all the drivers for the board,http://support.euro.dell.com/support...os=WW1&osl=EN#

if you look under Audio you will see the board has intergrated drivers, so it appears that another sound card has been installed, if the onboard sound has not been disabled in the BIOS you will have a conflict between the sound devices. Also look at the chipset driver, this enables software to be installed, I would firstupdate this and then install the Soundblaster live 24-bit drivers again.

Hope this helps
