For future reference here are the specifications of your comp http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/g...7&locale=en_US

If you alrady know parts of what I say, sorry just want to be clear

CREATE A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT BEFORE YOU INSTALL EACH OF THESE DRIVERS JUST IN CASE

Then create a folder in My Documents and name it Downloads, so you know where your drivers are.

Go here http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scri...4&submit=Go%21

Download No: 3 INFINST_AUTOL>EXE and save to disc, Browse to your Download folder and save it there. Make a note of the file, go to Download folder and double click the file, it will install itself, Then RESTART the computer. This file needs to be installed before any other drivers.

Next go here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&Software=True

your Audio driver is a Realtek ALC650,choose your OS it is second on list and then choose from one of the 3 mirror sites, download and again save to your download folder, the file is VXD_A378.EXE double click to install, it will install itself, then RESTART your computer.

Hope this helps
