i run a toshiba 3000-400 and i recently upgraded to windows xp professional.
i had the sam sound card problems with intel 82801ba/bam ac'97 audio controller and i if you r using the
Main Circuit Board
Board: Null 888M1
BIOS: TOSHIBA V1.90 07/14/01
on a toshiba
i just went to the toshiba website
http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.c...jsp?service=UK
and downlaoded an upgraded sound driver. and install it
