communicating: online vs real life, which are you more open/honest with?

This is primarily for a class, but I'm also curious.

How does your online chatting compare to real life conversation? Are you more open online or real life? How about honesty? Why?
By open I mean telling things that might be personal (as we've seen from many here), or it could just be more chatty.

I added the standalones as well as the combinations in case people find they can't decide on one or the other.

Personally, I'm more open online, but my honesty is the same. I have no reason to lie to begin with, and I think I'm more open online because it's more of a one-on-one rather than the possibility of other people listening in, especially when it comes to private conversations. Yeah, there's the tiny possibility that someone could be looking over the other person's shoulder when chatting online, but I'm not that paranoid.
