Hi, Don't have time to read this whole thing. Storing a file is just copying it to a storage device so you will have it if you ever need it again. Installing expands compressed files, copies the needed ones to your drive, makes Icons and makes entries to your registry. All so you can run the program. Hope this answers your question. Jim
