Exclamation Computer Won't Turn On!

Hello. Yesterday, while playing a game on the computer, my computer crashed. This happens once in a while so I wasn't worried. This time it was different. My computer crashed to a black screen, then the button on the CD drive started flashing and the drive made noises. After all that happened, the computer shut off. I tried to turn it back on, and nothing happened.
I tried to see what the problem was. I checked the power cord on another computer and it works. I tried to plug the computer into a different outlet, that didn't work. I looked inside and checked all the cables/parts to see if any were unattached, they were fine.
I'm not sure why it happened (Friday the 13th...) or what to do. My computer has lots of important things on it and it is vital for my job. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do, I'm all ears.
