hijack this

untill lately there has not been many people posting the results of hijack this logs, i was happy about that, now when i bring up the forums i see more and more of them. i hate looking at them. i really dont like the utility in general. if something is found by this it can usually be found and removed by a good spyware scanner or anti virus scan anyway. other forums i used to go to got so bad that almost everyone included a hijack this log with every post.

yea thats my 1st response when a person has troubles. for the beginners its lots easier than tryin to explain to em how to dig in the registry to find ie troubles. some forums get loaded with hijackthis logs tho your quite right Play_The_0dds.

actually a good course in safe browsing and ie security setup would be the best way i think. and if only everybody knew and used spybot and ad-aware lol.

being a phone/online tech support person for an isp hijackthis is a life saver because trying to explain to a newbie how to find some of the simple stuff hijackthis finds is really tuff let me tell ya. and once they find spybot, adaware, and hijackthis seldom do they have to run back to tech support. i help sometimes 20 or 30 peeps a day sometimes get ie working again and 9 times out of 10 its hijackthis does the trick.
