seen this post here yesterday and hoped to see miz reply and say everything was fine.......now hopes are they are having power/internet connection issues in the area, or other things have come up that keep miz busy and everything is ok. when the storms rolled through here my wife was terrified the whole time. hope to see you back soon and that all is well.

Ooops...missed the whole thread. Never thought I could overlook something with my nick in the subject line!

Nope, no tornados anywhere near my house. The day they were hitting, we were having a calm, clear day around here. Well, calm for Kansas. Winds only around 30 mph so the windmills weren't actually lifting off the ground.

I did lose net access for a while but it turned out to be a corroded connector in the wire to the DSL modem. Fortunately, there were 3 phone guys down from The Big City (Dodge City) hanging out at the switching station with nothing to do so they all trucked out here and spent an hour re-wiring part of my phone system....at no charge since they were bored.

Ahhh....small town life...gotta' love it.
