The Idiot " AGAIN "

Not sure which section to put this in, so its here.
I run win98 v2 cant be doing with anything to complicated, which is why I like this site, ( creep creep )
In the last few days I have had problems with my browser, it wont load certain sites, get the unavailable window.
Occasionally, all to frequently of late, I am getting illegal op warnings, when clicking details, I am told there is a problem with Kernal32, last time I saw kernal 32 mentioned anywhere it was to do with some virus or other.
At this point should mention, installed on my machine is a purchased package of Zone Alarm pro with all the bits, pest patrol etc, this was done following the bugbear virus scare months back, and have always had AVG installed aswell.
Following the reading of some stuff on here, last week I uninstalled kazza lite which had been there for a couple of months with no problems, but hey, I didnt like what I saw so it had to go.
The only recent stuff to be installed is the drivers for the new microsoft trackball ( geeze that legless mouse takes some getting used to ).
So I have been checking the contents stuff to see if I can find the problem myself, some chance, and the system contents says
57gb of hard drive available, should be about right, and 128ram which aint. I installed 512 of branded sd ram months ago, put it in myself.
Any idea why its saying that ?

Kernal 32. dll errors are usally associated with .CPL files. Most likely one or more of them are damaged. If you are handy you can use file search to find the .CPL files and double clicking each one of them to see if they work. If you find damaged files you can extract them from the windows cd. Use the Extract function. Or you can boot from the Windows cd and choose "repair". Repair will replace the file system and save all your personal settings and programs. Hope this helps.
