Question Switch to Windows XP from Mac?

Hey right now I have a 1.67GHz PowerBook G4 running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger and am wondering about the benefits of switching to Windows. I'm just wondering at this point and not looking for a specific computer yet. Thanks for any replies!

Thanks, PBG4.

Mac is WAYYYY better than Windows. There isn't really much of a reason for you to switch to windows except maybe compatibility and cheaper hardware and for laptops, more battery/power friendly processors. Even those reasons aren't all that justifiable. I'd just really recommend sticking with your PowerBook (you lucky dog).
Or... well, y'know what? How about you send me your powerbook. I'll even pay for shipping. You can just buy yourself a Windows laptop. Y'know what? I'll even buy you a Windows laptop, just send me your PowerBook. Haha, kidding, of course. That'd be awesome though.

Mac or Windows?

I would say that Windows is better. The main reason is that there's more software and applications for the Windows platform. The Macs in my school were always down or broken for some reason. I've been able to fix most of my Windows problems over the years. The only reasons that a Mac would beat a Windows are:
1. More/better graphics
2. Less likely to get viruses/spyware
