Virus and spyware protection review.

I have been using Norton's Antivirus and Webroot's SpySweeper for nearly five years now, and have yet to get a virus or anything on my computer to harm it. I found through trial and error what works for me with the way I use the internet.

Another software I have tried on another computer, since it was given to me free, is Kaspersky. For a time, and I believe it still is, Kaspersky was the number one rated overall protection for a home computer. I believe it still is since it does have its own firewall.

I use Norton Internet Security 2007. But, it is very slow when scaning files.

i cant believe people use norton ..its bloatware uses so much ram and slows your computer ..the worse is norton internet security..that makes your pc take 20 to 30 secs longer to start..uses lots of resourses..i use AVG and windows firewall and never had a problem in years..my sys take 20 secs cold start and runs fast .. i can open webpages in 2 secs and close system in 10 to 15 seconds. you can acheive this by minimising your start programs also increasing 10 connections in the ie in reg settings etc.
