Are some forums' mods and admins too ban happy?

Here's what happened... I signed up for a forum my friend found the other day,it looked preety cool... Cool avatars, a large user base, lots of posts... Anyways, I make 1 post, not flaming or flodding, with no racial slurs or whatever, and they ban me...

I say that is being ban-happy, since they say you can get warned, and they use a "3-strike policy", as far as people who may flood or be inappropriate, yet I get banned for 1 normal post. WTF is that?!

Good thing Admins on this site are not BAN-HAPPY or else they would have given you a warning for your last comment .........md16185, I don't mean to be a smart-@$$....I wanted to know....why are you complaining some much ?? You always find something here are there and express your negative opinion about them.

Cheers

I would have to concur with that comment, in the nicest possible way, naturally. ;p
