Compiling a list of Sound card drivers !

It seem like Sound card driver issue is popping up more and more everyday.....Is it just me or you guys noticed that too ?

I was thinking that we should compile a list of Sound card drivers (just the URL) and have it handy for the users, all they would need is to Run berlac on their PC and find the name of the Sound card and then use the complied list to find the proper driver.

Since the list of manufacturers making sound card is not very long then this should be do-able.....What do you people think ??

oldtimer, did you even read what I asked for ??? Please tell me honestly...did you UNDERSTAND what I suggested ???


I wanted your opinion on compiling a list of URL of sound card drivers / manufacturer / download link.............not on what kind of sound card or should the sound card be an OEM of retail box so you can see and read the name.........you blow me away with some of your replies.

Theres no reason to have to search for drivers of any kind.
Get them when you get the device.

The whole point of compiling a driver list is to help people who have miss placed their CD and can't find the right driver.........of if they got a hand me down computer form Friend / parent / work / where ever else...you simply don't get the point, not everything comes in a box.........
