Firefox is ok. I like the extensions. I use it as backup browser.
It is still not fast enough even with 'fasterfox'.
Hard to beat Opera.

That is for sure.
I find firefox to be unstable when you use the tabbed features. If I have 3 or more tabs open for very long it is sure to crash. I can have 7 or 8 tabs open in opera all day long and it never crashes. I alse find that java doesn't work right if firefox, making it hard to impossible to use some sites that use java.

Don't forget that as Firefox has become more popular, malware has started to target it. Those wonderful spyware folks want to connect to the largest audiences possible, after all.
Keep it updated.

Not only that, IE 7 is coded like firefox/Mozilla browsers. When people start switching over from IE 6, it is going to become a huge target.I highly doubt Mozilla had the money or the resorces that Microsoft has to keep up with the new threats that will be comming thier way.

I use Firefox most of the time, although I think Opera [which I use sometimes] is good too. [I also use IE when I have to]
