As far as helping others out here. I wonder should I give a hint, hope they get it and figure it out. Or should I keep still. I don't believe in piracy, I will not condone it, or teach others (even though I probally know)

With the above in mind on piracy. Should I hint about the "fix disk" for xp. The one that helps so much? I keep a copy of it. You all know the one Im talking about right.

That is an issue for the moderaters to decide about forum policy. I have my own views which do not condone piracy, having said that if the individual hunts around the internet enough all the answers are out there.

Very true. I did have one friend that somehow got himself locked out of his own computer. I know it was his. I know no one else used it or messed with it. I had to grab my handy dandy fix all disk and fix it. I am sure it happens to others. Who knows maybe if they get that desprate a pm or something.

A friend's pc is something that is verifiable as being a genuine reason for 'help'. Unfortunetly, on a forum, this is impossible to verify. I should hate for someone like MS to shut down this site just because we were 'helping'.

well... i guess is up to one individual to help or not... its not forcing one to help... this is a forum whereby one another share each other ideas, or helping one another to solve... of coz, whether to just only 'giving tips' on solving the problem, or a 'step by step' guide to help solving, is still up to individual....
