I started with Win 3.1 and then moved to W95.

In 1996 I moved to NT 4.0 and have followed the evolution through W2k and into XP.

Once I have got enough old components (leftovers from upgrades etc) I will have a bash at Linux.

It's all one big learning curve that is spiralling out of control.

I am currently running xp home, xp pro, redhat 8, and mandrake 9. I am going to format and repartition both drives and run xp pro and mandrake 9.1.

thanks guys. But I want the low down. How many of the windows haters are closet Microsoft users? And with free distros of linux swarming the globe, there is no excuses like,"that is what came installed on my computer", so come clean, haters, the truth shall set you free... or maybe make your stuff more reliable. Well, you never know 'til you try.
