Thumbs down Vista activation.....

If you have a less than perfect Vista........

I'm so sick of this activation crap. I deny all the XP ones since I have a legal system. Well, I installed the activeX so I could download the Vista deploy thing. I'll allow it as needed. Doesn't worry me, but I won't accept the full time update installed check tool.

My version of Vista states it's genuine. After the service pack and defender updates, it's genuine. Now they want more proof?
Since I'm testing only, M$ can whistle!
If I do eventually switch, Ditto. Trust me or die.

I'm giving Linux a serious consideration.
