ok people, what are everyones favorite rock bands. mine are:
aerosmith
grateful dead
beatles
rolling stones
led zepplin
nirvana
the strokes

Rock bands? In your list, though they are out of place, only the Beatles would do for me.
I prefer chillout and old school trance, plus some electronic stuff.

Years ago i often spent session time in a london recording studio where the greatest Jimmy Paige was the producer. What a super guy and what a talent.
So I guess led zeppelin is for me the best as well. As is The Moody Blues, The Who, The Yardbirds and not forgetting of course Freddy Mercury. Where I live I see plenty, like John Mayall and the Blues Breakers. Awesome!

Have the good fortune to see Queen at the NEC in 1984. Second row in the middle, neck ached for days. Awesome and unfortunately unrepeatable.
