Where to buy Win98 SE.

Hi,
I'm building a computer for my granddaughter and I want Win98 SE for her because she is only 9 and I personally thingk that is a better OS then and of the ME or XPs. However stores don't carry it any longer and the people on Ebay want to only give you the key, COA or make you get take or buy some hardware thing. That would not be bad except they want you to take a case which will eat you alive in shipping fees..
Also I may need some help while I am doing this. Anyone out there built their own before. I have done everything but changed out the Mobo. That won't be a problem but knowing where all the things on the power supply go might be lol.

You can buy Win98se here at newegg . However, stores will require that you buy some hardware because of rules that Microsoft made. A floppy drive,hard drive, etc.

You might also take a look at your local 'buy&sell', newspapers, etc.

The thing is Microsoft is not going to support 98se any longer. For the price difference, you might as well pick-up XP Home.

If you need advice building a system, I've built 5 or 6 and I'm sure others on the board have as well.

before spending money on win98 .........ask around, friends, workmates etc.
im sure someone has a copy and wouldnt mind burning one for you for free
if you need a key check this site.......can get a key for just about anything here ....
but...........it is stealing software and copyright infringements
