Guilty Pleasure????
What is something totally lame, stupid or strange that you like or liked for the PC that you hate to confess you enjoyed?
OK, here is mine. Christmas vacation I usually buy my kids a stack of new PC games to keep the occupied and after a couple in the $50 dollar range I start grabbing some of the cheap multiplayer/lan games we do not have that are $9 or cheaper at Gamestop because they can be more fun at times. Got one called Terrawars NY Invasion and the kids ages 13,14 and 16 all hated it. Very bad dialog, graphics was sadly outdated and as a FPS it was all around low-end. Being I hate to waste money I installed it and ended up playing it all the way through and had a bit of fun on single player mode (Mostly laughing at the voices and graphics) before I talked the kids into a multiplayer run. The multiplayer co-op maps, after finding a patch that installed one more was a fun shoot-em up with the kids. It was like a trip back in time and overall for the money spent it was better than most movies I have rented lately.
