Internet Explorer 8

I'm sure you are all aware the Internet Explorer 8 final release was finally distributed on the net last week.

I have installed it on my Vista desktop and XP laptop and it seems to be a lot better than IE7. This is in terms of speed of access and new utilities it has.

What are your opinions with IE8?

Here a nice trick , surf a few webpages and then afterwards hit or hold down the Backspace key ... Also I notice if IE8 isn't loading so good ? Try this under cmd regsvr32 actxprxy.dll it will load better afterwards ...

I also noticed that IE8 has a backward compatibility function. So that any websites incompatible with IE8, you press the button near the address bar and it then refers back to an earlier version of the browser and problem fixed.

Explorer 8

If my computer guy says to avoid Vista, or Explorer 8, or Windows 7 that's exactly what I will do. Microsoft is pushing people to download it. Well, where is the Microsoft Tidy Bowl man when things go wrong ? Does he camp in the driveway eager to bail us out ? No. He just says something silly like " Well, just uninstall it".

Depending on which country you are in (Europe for example), IE8 will not be available with Windows 7. See link below for details.

Avoid Vista but IE8 and Windows 7 are the two NOT to avoid.
