backing up before windows reinstall

Hi everyone im new here and im not really sure where my question fit in so i put her hoping someone would be able to answer it........... basically i want to reinstall windows XP home for various reasons and my question is this:
i have 3 separate physical hard drives and i was wondering if its possible to back up all the data that i want to keep to 2 of the drives that doesnt contain my o/s or will all be lost when i reinstall XP. My drives are 3 Western Digital 120 gig drives and the reason for wanting to know if this is possible is because i have about 180 gigs of stuff i want to keep....(yes i know that is retarded no need to state the obvious) so backing up to removeable media just isnt worth the effort .........any help would be appreciated.

juwanaman, I don't see you haveing any problem backing your file into one or two drive, and installing OS on the other one.
Few thing to remember:

- Make sure you install your OS in your C:\ Drive.
- If your current file system is NTFS (most probably it is), keep it the same, don't change it during installation.
- By Default your email file stays in your c:\ drive back them up too
